I am a former colleague who worked in Tailing Information Department for ten years and formally left the company due to family reasons. Seeing the comments about the Information Department, I actually felt somewhat emotional and wanted to share my genuine work experience there so that outsiders can gain a more complete understanding.
During my ten years in the Information Department, I learned many solid skills and methods that are genuinely useful in the industry. The manager was indeed clear about the team’s requirements, and the standards were high, but I gained tremendous growth from the experience. Whether in project capabilities, logical thinking, problem-solving, or even cross-departmental communication and collaboration, all of these became very important foundations for my later career. I am also very grateful to the Director of the Information Department for the guidance and cultivation over the years. Much of what I was later able to accomplish in my new job relied on the abilities and foundation I developed under the supervisor’s guidance at that time, which greatly benefited my career development.
To be honest, the pace in the Information Department is indeed fast, and the work requires a certain level of ability and responsibility. More importantly, it requires an ambitious and willing-to-learn attitude. If you cannot keep up for a while, it is understandable that you may feel stressed or even develop misunderstandings. But that does not mean anyone is bad; it simply means that different people are suited to different work environments.
For me, the managers and colleagues in the Information Department were willing to teach, guide, and provide opportunities. The overall atmosphere was positive, responsible, and supportive. Being able to work here for ten years was an important and fortunate part of my career. If there is a suitable position, I would be very willing to return to Tailing Information Department and work hard alongside my colleagues.
If you have had unpleasant experiences because of certain matters, I sincerely wish that you will later find a work environment that better meets your expectations and allows you to make the most of your abilities. However, I also hope that when speaking on public platforms, everyone can base their comments on facts and show one another a little more respect and understanding.
