Pros

Apart from having normal working hours, you’ll have to figure out the rest for yourself.

Cons

You still have to be assigned duty shifts on holidays, even though the tasks are not part of your actual job. You end up handling the owner’s personal errands. If you don’t take a shift, you’ll still be scolded. During a duty shift, you have to remain at the duty station and cannot wander off until the end of the workday. Promises of salary adjustments are just talk, as they are all suppressed by supervisors. The company has hardly any policies or procedures; everything is decided by the supervisors. Meetings are merely a formality, and the bonus system is also based on personal preferences. Access in and out is strictly controlled. At the year-end banquet, everyone has to help organize, clean, and tidy up before being allowed to leave.

It is simply a family business. The people who took over are unprofessional and come and go as they please. The supervisors are all relatives or connected through family ties. If you want a promotion, you have to be good at flattering people; otherwise, you will just be suppressed. There is little structure in management, and policies change depending on the person. It is not recommended for people without relevant connections to join the company.
