Very close to Exit 3 of Shandao Temple MRT Station
1. The building’s elevator is extremely old, and the office is very run-down. During the interview, I kept worrying that a cockroach might suddenly scurry out.
There were surveillance cameras at the interview location.
2. Upon entering, I saw a large number of feng shui objects (a half-body-sized Guan Gong statue, wood carvings, crystal geodes, a jade pot, hanging coins, etc.—more than 10 items in total). The form completed during the interview also asked for my lunar-calendar birthday.
3. I have a finance background. Since the job description said accounting and administrative experience was preferred and that the position would also involve procurement, I stated a relatively high expected salary.
However, the interviewer did not mention the procurement duties at all. The salary offered was even below the current minimum wage, and they said it would increase by NT$3,000 only after obtaining an investment consulting license.
In the end, we wished each other well and concluded the interview.
