A company specializing in learning portfolios
It consistently secures government and school contracts. Its small office in New Taipei has around 10 to 20 employees, with some dispatched staff in southern Taiwan.
I was invited to interview because the company wants to make breakthroughs or changes; the position is non-engineering.
The annual salary is 13.5 months’ pay plus two performance bonuses.
The interviewer was the owner’s wife. She has educational ideals, loves her work, is friendly toward all genders and sexual orientations, and has sharp intuition.
They are also aware of the strengths and weaknesses of their own recruitment conditions and are willing to give newcomers room to contribute.
Although we both had a general understanding of the situation, we still had such an enjoyable conversation that we lost track of time.
For an interview at an SME, the experience was not bad: it was a balanced, two-way conversation.
A standardized résumé
The building is a little dark.
I heard that the owner has a rather forceful personality, and this was also mentioned to me, but I did not meet him that day.
