The work allows you to travel to different places.
In addition to solar panel repair and maintenance, the job also involves a lot of weeding, applying anti-rust paint, and cleaning solar panels (not with a machine specifically designed for solar panels, but with a mop), along with a pile of miscellaneous tasks. Things that would originally have been handled by contractors are all assigned to employees if the company discovers that employees can do them, in order to save money. The boss and the boss's wife often hold differing opinions about work, making it difficult for employees to carry out even basic tasks.
On holidays, the boss or the boss's wife often make one or two or more phone calls. There are occasional calls after work on weekdays. Overtime is compensated with time off in lieu, with no overtime pay. The calls concern both work and personal matters. What I find especially unpleasant is that they criticize former employees or colleagues over the phone.
Other suggestions
The office is located inside an old mixed residential-commercial apartment building. The company is very small, with fewer than five employees. Although the office is small, it is packed with many tools and solar panels.
If you are considering applying to this company, I suggest thinking carefully. This job requires signing an employment contract. Although I cannot disclose the contents, I can say that I do not recommend it. Excluding the boss and the boss's wife, there is only one colleague.
Customers, suppliers, and business owners all ask why the company keeps changing employees, so it can be considered a company with a high turnover rate. These reasons for dissatisfaction probably account for less than 10%; there are still other issues. Anyone willing to interview and take the job can experience it firsthand.
