I worked there for a while many years ago before leaving. The hardware and equipment were all new and quite good, but the general manager there was truly frustrating. Coming from Toyota passenger cars, he had no commercial vehicle experience and applied an entirely passenger-car mindset to commercial vehicles. Even the factory equipment planning followed passenger-car specifications. This gentleman had serious problems with emotional management and would frequently raise his voice at employees. In particular, he spoke in a gangster-like manner, was self-important, loved showing off his presence, and assumed he had extensive connections and was well-liked. (Just ask around and you’ll know what people really think of him.) All I can say is that he was lucky to have a chairman who favored him and even helped him go study for an EMBA...!
