The salary is neither high nor low, and there is an annual bonus, though it isn't large.
The three traditional holiday benefits are provided as employee-purchase vouchers, and the amount is fairly decent.
The leave policy is quite employee-friendly.
As a traditional company, it lacks good SOPs, rules, and systems; work methods are determined entirely by seniority.
Management at the supervisory level is poor. They often forget things, or fail to resolve issues among themselves, which frequently causes difficulties for frontline employees carrying out tasks or leads to inexplicable blame.
The workplace culture is extremely unhealthy. Many older employees who are nearing retirement, including supervisors, act one way in front of others but gossip, badmouth people, and even curse behind their backs. This culture is severe.
Senior sales staff spend all day slacking off and do not do sales work, while the supervisors do nothing about it!
Some senior employees have bad tempers and refuse to admit their mistakes. To make matters worse, instead of calming employees' emotions, they resort to intimidation, aggressive gestures, and even profanity. It is utterly outrageous—practically hooligan behavior.
Work is distributed unevenly, while those who retire and are rehired can pretend nothing is wrong.
There are not even that many employees, yet different departments fight among themselves, harbor grudges, and ostracize one another.
I absolutely do not recommend this company to passionate, capable people; you will only be disappointed.
