The office is very new, and the colleague who came to open the door and helped fill out the interview forms was polite.
The entire interview process was a complete mess.
I thought I would give it a try since the company had proactively invited me to interview, but only after the actual experience did I realize that the negative reviews online were not unfounded.
First, after I finished filling out the forms, I waited approximately 15–20 minutes. The interviewer came in without introducing themselves at all (I presume they were HR). When I politely asked about their position, they completely evaded the question and only emphasized that they were not the hiring manager. This evasive attitude left me stunned right from the start.
Even more concerning was that the interviewer seemed to have almost no grasp of the types of projects the company was currently undertaking or the basic situation of the department, demonstrating an extremely superficial understanding. Some of the questions were even rather laughable, and their way of speaking and level of professionalism did not resemble those of an HR representative. They even got the name of the position I was applying for wrong several times (lol). After about 15 minutes, they suddenly stood up and said, “That concludes today’s interview. We will notify you if there are any further steps.”
Overall, the process made me feel that my time had been wasted and raised concerns about the company’s internal management and hiring process. Job seekers considering going for an interview are advised to think twice.
