台灣大福高科技設備股份有限公司
Pros

So far, all the colleagues I’ve encountered have been easy to get along with.

Cons

The Tainan F18 plant is short-staffed on supervisors, so Taiwan Daifuku’s safety personnel distribute the work safety reminders that supervisors are supposed to read at the morning meeting for technicians to take turns reading. People who read them poorly get demerit points. Getting demerit points means money is deducted from the subcontracting company; the deducted money is supposed to be donated, and then the receipt must be submitted.

Using this kind of method that skirts the edge of the law to deduct money from technicians’ pay and pressure the subcontracting company, while also making it impossible to report them to the Labor Bureau—haha, it’s ridiculous.

The standard for reading the work safety reminders poorly is based on Zhang Shunjie, the head of safety at F18. Whatever he says goes. If he gets angry or unhappy, he deducts points, citing “poor discipline” as the reason. I thought I was in the military. “Poor discipline” has nothing to do with TSMC’s Blue Book. In any case, it’s not as if these safety personnel’s points are deducted. Even when safety personnel make mistakes that affect technicians, there is no disciplinary action; they don’t apologize either—they just act as if nothing happened.

Some of Taiwan Daifuku’s safety personnel are also hired through outsourcing companies, and they act incredibly arrogant. The safety personnel from other equipment vendors aren’t like this. These safety personnel can only act like local emperors at Taiwan Daifuku.

People frequently post complaints about Taiwan Daifuku in the TSMC大小事 Facebook group.
