Absolutely no sense of cohesion. The people who join aren't really people who work seriously either. It's like a nursing home, full of old-timers who can't do anything, collecting high salaries while spending every day drinking tea and chatting, as if they were in a retirement home. No wonder a movie once said that a so-called company is just a few people who know how to make money supporting a group of people who don't. It's only good as a stepping stone for drawing a paycheck.
As for the senior executive that so many people above have been criticizing: he used to be a manager at an e-commerce company, and his character and ability were notoriously poor. He couldn't do anything, liked stirring up conflicts, and wanted to take all the credit, which is why so many people had issues with him—and why so many people had been mistreated by him.
The work assigned to people who are hired after interviews is also completely different from what was described during the interview, sometimes even in a different field.
But what can you do? Compared with ability, what society values more is connections. As long as you rely on connections, it doesn't matter how incapable you are, how much damage you cause, or how many things you get wrong.
Don't be fooled by the promise of double salary for receiving an award. As long as you're not an obedient dog, there are plenty of reasons to target you; if you're not disciplined, you should consider yourself lucky.
There is no correctness here, only politics.
There is no competition here, only infighting.
There is no character here, only connections.
There is no ability here, only influence.
