“Interview process”:
The interview conversation was simple, and there were basically not many requirements. The entire interview process took about 20 minutes to complete. The company has a refrigerator but no microwave, so it uses an old-fashioned method to heat lunch by providing a rice cooker to warm up lunch boxes.
“Work environment”:
There is no hourly cleaning staff. Overall, employees must take turns cleaning the workplace together each week to maintain a tidy office environment.
“Salary and benefits”:
The company uses a basic base-salary system combined with performance bonuses, with different commission rates depending on the level of performance achieved. The company helps raise funds for several foundations. Although the bonus system is flexible, it is still generally performance-oriented. Each month, a fundraising target is set for fundraising staff. If the minimum performance threshold is not reached, employees receive only their base salary; if performance falls short, many methods are used to pressure you.
“Overall experience”:
The company’s rules and systems change frequently, lacking stability and consistency. Many decisions contradict one another, and it is common for the company to say one thing today and change its position tomorrow. In terms of business development, although employees are ostensibly required to develop their own contact lists, in practice the company uses various justifications and rules to give the business-development lists to supervisors. Supervisors simply sit back and take in the resources that employees worked hard to develop. In addition, actual fundraising revenue is not publicly disclosed or transparent, which creates distrust among employees.
The working hours and pressure are also overwhelming. There is almost never enough time to rest, and break times often change. If performance is poor, breaks are canceled. Employees remain under high pressure over the long term, causing a significant impact on their physical and mental health. Supervisors tend to use a high-pressure management style and are often emotionally unstable, handling problems through shouting and verbal abuse while lacking basic respect and communication skills. Their emotional management is clearly inadequate, and they provide relatively little respect or support to employees.
Overall, this work environment is not conducive to personal growth or long-term development and may also have lasting negative effects on physical and mental health. Prospective applicants are advised to learn more and evaluate the situation from multiple perspectives before making a decision.
