The boss is nice, and most of the managers and colleagues are nice too.

Self-management of your time is very important because they will not regularly follow up on your progress; when the deadline arrives, you need to deliver.

The boss and managers said they would promote me and give me a raise, and asked me to take on a manager’s responsibilities first. I did so for two or three years, but there was still no follow-up.

Later, they said again that they would promote me to manager, but they would not provide resources or manpower. I eventually found out that they were only spreading rumors to suppress the current manager.

I felt like I was being treated as an idiot.

The work is very miscellaneous, and everyone is expected to do sales, but I’m an engineer. They didn’t give me a raise and still expect me to take on sales work!?

Because of the reduction in business in recent years, the boss has tried to transform the company, but it feels like they cannot make the transition. There is a sense of being at a loss.

Also, don’t take on PLM-related work—you will regret it!
