During the interview, I was offered a bottled mineral water.
The first half hour was an HR interview, and the second half hour was an interview with the manager, for a total interview time of one hour. At the beginning, a relatively young HR representative came in. Their manner of speaking was fairly polite and courteous. Not long afterward, a relatively senior HR representative arrived. This person spoke in an extremely arrogant and self-righteous manner and showed no understanding of the other person’s situation, as if everyone else was wrong and only they were right. The interview was then handed over to the manager. The manager was extremely cold and asked several questions in what felt like a very perfunctory manner, as though they were asking questions merely because this was an interview. Strange—wasn’t it the manager who asked me to come for the interview? Why be so perfunctory? What’s amusing is that during the HR interview, they mentioned that a decision on the candidate for the position would not be made in the short term. But honestly, the entire interview process made me feel that they had no intention of hiring me at all; I felt this was simply an excuse for a polite rejection. And sure enough, after the interview ended, I never heard from them again—not even a thank-you email. ^^
