HR announced that my résumé matched the interview invitation, but when it came time to arrange the actual interview date, they replied that, after reviewing it, I did not meet the requirements for the position.
It’s not that I need this interview opportunity, but if I didn’t meet the requirements from the start, why contact me at all? Doesn’t this show a problem with HR’s professionalism?
You can already tell from the interview invitation that this is quite a mess... It could rank among the top three worst experiences. Please at least take care of your public image.
