After one month, they notified me that I had passed to a second interview,
but by then I had already found a job and politely declined.
Later, the supervisor in the United States contacted me, saying they were ready to make me an offer,
and hoped I could interview with an even higher-level supervisor in the United States.
We scheduled it for Saturday morning, but the higher-level supervisor in the United States had something come up and did not attend that day…
The original supervisor asked me about the compensation of the offer I had received and then signed off.
Of course, they never gave me the offer they had promised afterward.
So, were they just trying to obtain salary information?
It left me feeling quite disappointed.
