A month after the first interview, they notified me about a second interview. However, I had already found a job by then and politely declined. Later, the supervisor in the United States contacted me and said they were preparing to make me an offer. They hoped I could interview with an even higher-level supervisor in the United States. We scheduled it for Saturday morning, but the higher-level supervisor in the United States had something come up and did not show up that day… The original supervisor asked me about the compensation package of the offer I had received and then went offline. Of course, they never gave me the offer they had promised afterward. So, were they just trying to obtain salary information? It left me feeling quite bad.
