More than a month after the first interview, they notified me that they wanted a second interview,
but by then I had already found a job and politely declined.
Later, a manager in the United States contacted me and said they were ready to give me an offer,
and hoped that I could interview with an even higher-level manager in the United States.
We scheduled it for Saturday morning, but the higher-level manager in the United States had something come up and didn't show up that day…
The original junior manager asked me about the compensation of the offer I had currently received and then signed off.
Afterward, of course, they never gave me the offer they had promised,
so was this just an attempt to obtain salary information?
It left me feeling quite bad.
