A month after the first interview, they notified me about a second interview.
However, I had already found a job by then and politely declined.
Later, the manager in the United States contacted me and said they were preparing to make me an offer,
hoping that I could interview with a higher-level manager in the United States.
We scheduled it for Saturday morning, but the higher-level manager in the United States had something come up and did not show up that day…
The original junior manager asked me about the compensation package of the offer I had received and then went offline.
Of course, they never gave me the offer they had promised afterward.
So was this just a way to trick me into revealing salary information?
It left me feeling quite bad.
