A month after the first interview, I was notified about a second interview. However, I had already found a job by then and politely declined.
Later, the supervisor in the United States contacted me and said they were ready to give me an offer. They hoped I could interview with a higher-level supervisor in the United States.
We scheduled it for Saturday morning, but the higher-level supervisor in the United States had something come up and did not show up that day…
The original junior supervisor asked me about the compensation package of the offer I had received and then logged off.
Of course, they did not give me the promised offer afterward.
So, were they just trying to trick me into revealing salary information?
It left me feeling quite upset.
