They notified me about a second interview a month after the first interview,
but by then I had already found a job and politely declined.
Later, the supervisor in the United States contacted me and said they were preparing to make me an offer,
hoping that I could interview with a higher-level supervisor in the United States.
We scheduled it for Saturday morning, but the higher-level supervisor in the United States had something come up and did not show up that day…
The original supervisor briefly asked me about the terms of the offer I had currently received and then logged off.
Of course, they never gave me the promised offer afterward,
so were they just trying to obtain salary information by deceiving me?
It left me feeling quite bad.
