Paid on time
1. Company-wide meeting once every two weeks. You cannot be late or take leave, and everyone has to prepare a speech and chant the company slogan (seriously).
2. You have to bring your own toilet paper.
3. You have to wear the company uniform every day (it’s ugly).
4. You have to clean every day, taking turns cleaning the toilets.
5. No meals provided, and the factory has no air conditioning.
6. You have to be on duty at noon to answer the phone.
7. Salary increases and promotions are not transparent; you only get a raise when the boss feels like it.
8. Meetings are extremely frequent and mostly pointless.
9. There is a lot of scheming among coworkers. Personal matters will be brought up in meetings, and the infighting is intense.
10. When it rains, you cannot wear flip-flops or sandals. If your pant legs get wet, that’s your own problem.
11. Asking for a raise makes you an ungrateful person. The company will only feed you “air pies.”
12. Employees come up with all the solutions; the managers have little ability to solve problems.
13. The boss likes to hear flattering things. It doesn’t matter if you lack ability—as long as you can talk well.
14. Everything is promised but never delivered. It’s truly pathetic.
15. If they take a dislike to you, you’ll be publicly called out in the group chat.
16. You are not allowed to eat breakfast.
17. Not participating in company activities will result in KPI points being deducted.
18. They love saying that we are “Yakko family,” then later say we are not family because family forgives unconditionally (if you know, you know). What a joke.
