Paychecks are issued on time
1. Company-wide meetings are held once every two weeks. You cannot be late or take leave, and everyone has to prepare a speech and chant the company slogan (seriously).
2. You have to bring your own toilet paper.
3. You have to wear the company uniform every day (it’s ugly).
4. Everyone has to clean every day, taking turns cleaning the toilets.
5. No meals are provided, and the factory has no air conditioning.
6. You have to be on duty at noon to answer the phone.
7. Salary adjustments and promotions are not transparent; you only get a raise if the boss feels like it.
8. Meetings are extremely frequent, and most of them lack a clear purpose.
9. There is a lot of scheming among coworkers. Personal matters will be brought up during meetings, and the infighting is intense.
10. When it rains, you are not allowed to wear slippers or sandals. If your pant legs get wet, that’s your own problem.
11. Asking for a raise makes you an ungrateful person. The company will only feed you air pies.
12. Employees come up with all the solutions; the supervisors have little ability to solve problems.
13. The boss likes hearing flattering words. It does not matter if you lack ability—as long as you know how to talk.
14. Everything is promised but never delivered. It’s truly pathetic.
15. If they take a dislike to you, you will be publicly called out in the announcement group.
16. You are not allowed to eat breakfast.
17. If you do not participate in company activities, points will be deducted from your KPI.
18. They love saying that we are “Yake family,” then later say we are not family because family would forgive unconditionally (if you know, you know). It’s hilarious.
