I came for an interview for an accounting assistant position. The interviewer first asked about my work experience, then asked whether I had purchasing experience. When I said no, their attitude immediately changed, even though the job description never said that purchasing experience was required. It was truly a terrible interview experience. Why doesn’t the company do its homework and review résumés before inviting people to interviews? Do they treat interviewees like dogs? I made the trip for nothing and paid for parking—what about the fuel costs? The interview ended in less than two minutes. As soon as the interviewer heard that I had no experience with purchasing or accounts receivable, they no longer wanted to continue the interview. This company is extremely disrespectful and absolutely awful.
