Spacious and comfortable environment

The interviewer kept repeatedly asking questions about my work from a nonprofessional perspective and also asked what software I use, even though I had already written it on my résumé... They replied that they "should" be using the same software as me. They could have clearly reviewed my work before inviting me to an interview, yet on the day of the interview they said that I didn't have the kind of work their company produces... So why did they invite me to interview in the first place?
