1. The work is safe and straightforward. Once assigned tasks are completed, the remaining time is yours to use freely (online learning / freelance work / browsing the internet / scrolling on your phone / shopping / chatting, etc.).
2. Except for MIS, there is almost no overtime.
3. Most colleagues get along well.
4. The benefits are above average. Mid-Autumn Festival and Dragon Boat Festival bonuses are half a month’s salary / At the start of the year, one NT$1,000 bill plus two NT$500 bills / Year-end bonus: as long as it is not too outrageous, it is generally acceptable; monthly movie screenings / quarterly company dinners / club activities / domestic and overseas travel / a health-checkup package once every two years / free coffee.
5. The work environment is clean and modern, with a cleaning company providing regular maintenance. There is a half-hour buffer at the start of each workday and a one-and-a-half-hour lunch break. The company is near Shandao Temple, National Taipei University of Business, Taipei Main Station, and Huashan 1914 Creative Park. The transportation network is convenient, and the surrounding area is full of energy and small everyday pleasures.
6. All other benefits required by the Labor Standards Act are provided, and some even exceed its requirements.
7. If you dream of becoming a civil servant but do not want to take the national civil service examination, work in an old government building, or frequently be transferred between workplaces, this place is truly suitable—especially for married people.
1. The parent company’s core business is the fear-inducing direct-selling business (primarily targeting Hong Kong and mainland China), so it is full of dangerous uncertainties.
2. The company is one of the parent company’s subsidiaries and does not directly participate in the business described in point 1 above. As a result, there is no so-called “performance”; it only provides back-office support (promotional materials / data / customer service).
3. Because of point 2, the starting salary is basically low, and the salary adjustment range is also limited.
4. The last point varies from person to person: the company conducts business outside the parent company’s operations without the parent company’s knowledge.
