Something the company could consider
Before the interview, they send you an email asking you to fill in interview information (down to the names and occupations of family members, and even the names of supervisors and managers from every company you have worked for).
The on-site interview lasted more than an hour. At the beginning, they gave me a form and asked me to handwrite answers to a whole bunch of questions (my strengths and weaknesses / the parts of my previous work experience that gave me a sense of accomplishment / my impression of Melaleuca / whether I knew what the job involved / how I would handle interpersonal relationship problems, etc.). During the interview, they repeatedly emphasized that stress tolerance was extremely important (at least three times). When they were dissatisfied with my answers, they would put me into hypothetical situations and keep pressing me on what I would do.
For six months (or was it a year?), you need to take turns handling telephone customer service work, contacting people on lists provided by the company and reminding members. It is a responsibility-based system, so you cannot leave work until all the calls have been made and everyone has been contacted.
They said the employee dinner was a company benefit, but it was held on a regular day off, taking up employees’ rest time and requiring you to spend your day off with colleagues and supervisors.
After the interview, I could only feel that the amount of work required was unbelievably large, while the salary was unbelievably low.
I would not even recommend considering this company.
