Position: Warehouse Administration Staff
1. The hiring manager was very enthusiastic during the interview, creating a good image of the company.
2. The job responsibilities were clearly explained.
3. The company complies with the law and has no culture of overtime.
4. All that glitters is not gold, ________ (please fill in the blank yourself)
1. During the interview, they said the probationary period was three months. In reality, the manager’s and colleagues’ patience lasted only one month.
2. The job posting said that experience was not required, but all the members of the warehouse department are extremely experienced veterans. If you have not previously worked in warehouse-related roles, there is a high chance they will look down on you.
(P.S. If you also enjoy gossiping about others, you might get along very well with the warehouse department; otherwise, good luck.)
3. Being serious and responsible alone is not enough—you also have to be as fast as they are, despite their ten or twenty years of experience (get up to speed within one month), and be a good colleague who can chat with them about gossip too 😍 Work paired with gossip: top-notch efficiency 👍👏 (Hearing the colleagues beside you complain about other people in the background during work is completely normal 👌)
4. More than a month after I joined, my speed had improved and my error rate had decreased, yet the warehouse department manager still used an excuse to issue me a termination notice, saying that they felt I could not keep up with their pace. (The interviewer was the warehouse department manager; at the time, he said: “I think doing the work correctly is more important than doing it quickly.”)
5. Summary: If you join this company, beware of the warehouse department. Humans who are good at dealing with veterans who pull rank based on seniority/bullies are welcome to come and challenge them.
