Pros

1. Monthly birthday parties with free food

2. Subsidies for overseas employee trips; domestic trips are basically free

3. Regular company dinners once every three months, with a limit of NT$600; supervisors pay for any excess

4. Guaranteed 14 months of salary per year, with an additional 0.5 month each for the Mid-Autumn Festival and Dragon Boat Festival

5. You can learn some basic knowledge, and the company has a low entry threshold and is willing to hire graduates from non-related fields, making it suitable as a stepping-stone company

Cons

1. The company does not provide comprehensive training. New employees have to figure everything out on their own, resulting in extremely low work efficiency; if you make a mistake, you get scolded.

2. The turnover rate is high. Previous employees do not properly hand over their work, and there are no SOPs to refer to.

3. The company makes things difficult due to human factors. Supervisors have the final say, upper management does not empathize with frontline employees, and raising issues may result in you being questioned instead.

4. Supervisors treat everyone as if they were a recent graduate, regardless of whether they have experience.

5. There are major communication problems, but supervisors never think that they are the ones with communication issues. Instead, they question your communication skills and treat you like an idiot.

6. The annual salary adjustment is a sham. Performance reviews are just for show for the boss. Performance is discussed once every six months, but in reality, salaries are not adjusted, and the performance rating is grade B.

7. Work efficiency is poor, and cross-departmental coordination is very difficult.

8. Supervisors like to complicate things, yet think they have done nothing wrong; everything is blamed on frontline employees. (Catchphrase: “split it into two parts.”)

9. The salary and benefits will leave you very poor.

***10*** They ask you to resign early. After completing one year, the notice period for resignation should be 20 days, but they will ask you to hand over your work and leave on the same day, and will not pay you the three traditional holiday bonuses.

A reminder: If you are planning to resign, it is best to receive the bonus before submitting your resignation. The company may ask you to hand over your work and resign early in order to save on the bonus.
