The interview process at the subsidiary Guangding Energy is one of a kind.
They’ve been interviewing for more than six months, and they’re still hiring. I wonder if all the interviewees have been scared off by the manager’s unusual interview style.
They ask only one essay question and tell you to think it through carefully before answering, then the manager goes off to smoke. Meanwhile, other employees come out and scold the interviewee for sitting there alone instead of leaving.
The manager repeatedly emphasizes that they can’t stand the team’s efficiency and capabilities, so they laid off the entire team. They claim they can handle a lot of work alone, but how many interviewees would dare work under them? It feels like there’s no security at all.
