1. Engineers often travel for work and can fly to many countries.
2. The benefits are considered pretty good for a machine-tool company; the backer behind it is Tongtai.
3. The assistant general manager is quite imaginative and hardworking, and fairly handsome.
1. Those with a manager title basically have no authority; every decision has to be referred to the assistant general manager.
2. The sales department is terrible. There are six salespeople, mainly three strange middle-aged women: one is overweight (constantly filled with confidence from who-knows-where); one is fond of cosmetic procedures and looks like Xiuqin, and likes to say she is the most beautiful woman in the Asia-Pacific region (her relationship with mainland Chinese distributors is unusual—just ask any Asia-Pacific employee and they will know); the other looks very mean (and speaks very meanly too, with a short, dark, square face). The remaining two male and one female salespeople are basically useless. I have traveled for work with the three aforementioned middle-aged women; they work for one or two days, use company funds to play for several days and submit the expenses for reimbursement, then tell the company how hard they worked on the business trip. The most poisonous department.
3. Salespeople like to accept orders recklessly, making life miserable for the engineers and causing everyone to struggle every day.
