The boss places great importance on the company’s external image.
They allocate a budget to purchase
positive reviews from online promoters on Tiānyǎn Tōng and Google Maps.
A lazy-person’s guide from a senior former employee: Marketing Department, run for your lives.
No one at this company knows what they’re doing.
It feels like everyone is just here to coast until retirement.
Even the boss has no ambition and only thinks about saving money all day.
However, if we’re talking about the main reason this place is so difficult to work at, we have to mention the head of marketing. Here are a few brief reasons:
1. Professional competence is basically zero
They are completely unable to provide employees with any help at work and know nothing about games or the market. I have never received any useful advice; all they ever offer are opinions.
2. Extremely disrespectful toward others
Besides privately calling the boss a dead old monkey,
they often criticize other colleagues’ appearance, interests, and preferences,
and have even gotten physically inappropriate.
3. Very poor emotional management
I don’t know whether they’re going through menopause or what,
but whenever they’re in a bad mood, they lash out at people indiscriminately.
They never address the matter itself. If there’s anything you can gain from them, it’s probably negative energy.
If you’re passionate about games or want to learn,
I strongly advise against coming to this company.
