Because there is very little information online, I am providing job seekers with some real details for reference.
The interviewer was unclear about the company's operating direction for the next 12 months and only said that the Taipei office had been established recently and needed staff.
The interview process was unprofessional.
For example: HR sent the interview invitation as an onboarding notification.
For example: After the first-round interview, which was attended by three interviewers, they said a few days later that there would be a second-round online interview. The day after the interview, they sent a message expressing a strong willingness to cooperate, but did not mention the salary or any other details at all. During the first-round interview, they only made vague promises that the company had the budget to pay an annual salary package.
In the end, they sent a rejection letter!
It was obvious during the interview process that the company was urgently looking to hire someone, but did not know what kind of person it was looking for. The company's management and person in charge were also unclear about the organization's next steps, so many of their answers were:
1. This concerns a trade secret, so I cannot answer.
2. I cannot give you a specific answer right now.
In this age of information overload, many Fortune 500 companies publish their financial statements on their official websites for people to download. I really do not understand the practices of small businesses.
