全日物流股份有限公司
Pros

The company is an established brand that has been operating for a long time. Its business is relatively straightforward, without a complicated range of business units. Cold-chain logistics can also be considered a future trend. The company claims to be undergoing transformation, but the results remain to be seen.

Cons

The company is actively seeking transformation, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage. The advantage is that management is trying to create new opportunities for the industry and has also invested heavily in capital expenditures. The disadvantage is that its conservative mindset has not changed, or the quality of its employees has not improved accordingly. In the past, the company promoted plans to go public, but those plans ultimately came to nothing.

The work location is not particularly presentable (I cannot comment on the logistics center because I have not seen it). The headquarters is an old residential building converted into offices; please Google the surrounding environment yourself. Other than salary, there are few noteworthy benefits (for fairness, there are gift allowances during the three major holidays, consisting of points worth approximately NT$1,000). The year-end bonus is also pitifully small—on average, less than one month’s salary—and is paid in two installments. Perhaps there will be opportunities for improvement in the future?

Some senior employees have an incredibly inflated sense of themselves, and the tendency for people in the same echo chamber to seek mutual validation is quite serious. The company is extremely traditional and local in character. Overall, certain employees and supervisors have a strong grassroots flavor. I will refrain from commenting on the internal culture. The company’s ability to build its external image and handle public relations needs improvement (there is other information online for reference; please judge its authenticity for yourself). It is estimated that professional managers would need to step in to completely turn around the company’s predicament and achieve genuine transformation. The irony is that true professional managers would probably not accept a company of this caliber.

It is fine if you are looking for a stable paycheck, but I do not recommend it for career development. Gain experience in the outside world instead.
