There is a company-provided lunch.
I have currently been working at Daya Kitchenware for less than a month. On my second or third day, the company’s successor told me under the pretext of a meeting:
“I think I negotiated your salary too high during the interview!”
At the time, I evaded the issue without addressing it directly, but I felt that the company’s senior manager lacked integrity. As for the work, the job duties described during the interview were completely different from the actual duties. They would assign you other work and then criticize your performance based on those duties. After I had been employed for two weeks, HR interviewed me about my poor performance and demanded that my salary be reduced by NT$5,000. There were also unreasonable claims such as “not being cooperative,” supposedly because I was not proactive enough in helping transfer phone calls. But after only 14 days on the job, with no one training me, how could there be any cooperation?
After this process, I went through about two more interviews,
and then they said they wanted to change my work location…
None of these changes were documented on any official change form; everything was handled through discussions with HR. They also use interview records to protect the company (and she will pressure you to sign them).
In the end, they did not even know where to assign you, but because the company was short-staffed, they assigned me front-desk duties: handling call transfers, customer service, transferring messages through the official LINE@ account, and administrative work for the boss’s wife’s direct-selling business…
