Cons
1. You need to write answers to 12 essay questions (not difficult, but almost entirely unrelated to the job, such as things you do both quickly and well), as well as take a personality test, which takes about 1 hour.
2. The written test is followed by an interview with the boss/editor-in-chief. During the process, they inevitably seem to be trying to dig out all kinds of weaknesses in you, and then, in a tone of someone who likes to lecture others, teach you how to conduct yourself.
