None at all
1. Religious faith taken to an extreme
I still remember that on the very first day of the interview, they asked about my religious beliefs and even said that interns would have to go to church for their internship in the future (forced). They also took all the employees to church during company trips. It was incredibly ridiculous.
2. The boss and the boss's wife like to bad-mouth everyone and everything
For example, when I reported to work on my first day, I mentioned that I had previously interviewed at Jinwang.
Then the boss's wife started ranting that Jinwang was terrible and that no office should be in a building....
(Hello? Isn't it stranger for your company to be in a storefront? And the storefront on the first floor is a complete mess. Have you never thought about how customers feel when they come to pay their bills?
3. They like to complain about employees
• I had only been working there for a few days when the boss's wife had already complained about every employee in the company to me one by one.....
The person who previously held my position was even more pitiful. Although they were verbally abused with profanity by a difficult customer, the company still blamed and drove them away. The boss and the boss's wife judge people by the issue rather than the person, fail to distinguish between public and private matters, and even say things like, “Young people nowadays are such delicate strawberries.” Hello, this has nothing to do with being a “strawberry,” okay? ^_^ This person had worked there for three years, was cursed at by a customer, and the customer kept calling to demand that they be fired, while the company did not support them. Do you really think that's being a “strawberry”? The “Taiwanese tilapia” stereotype is created by unscrupulous business owners like you.
• Previously, the boss held a meeting with other business owners in the same industry and complained about employees so much that the other party was left speechless, apparently thinking that his management style was completely unacceptable.
4. Stingy, yet they think paying business employees is a waste of money
• In all my years of working, this was the first time I had encountered such a miserly company. They bought garbage bags thinner than a 0.01-mm Okamoto condom—I am not exaggerating. The kind where throwing in a single tissue would make the garbage bag collapse. They diluted the glue used to stick bills with an excessive amount of water, so it would not stick at all, yet we still had to finish sticking and mailing the bills before leaving work.
• The boss's wife often complained that other telecommunications companies did not even have sales staff, so why did we have to spend money to support sales staff....
Please, paying sales staff more simply means that they make a lot of money for you, doesn't it? What exactly is there to quibble about?
5. Reported to the Labor Bureau by multiple employees
• This husband-and-wife pair are repeat offenders. Employees who had worked there for several years reported them to the Labor Bureau; they were fined and required to attend courses on employers' responsibilities; and they were sued for withholding employees' two identification documents and refusing to return them. They've done it all!
Even after I resigned, I had to repeatedly chase them for my salary. I only received it after bringing up my lawyer uncle and making a half-threatening move. They even dragged out payment of less than one month's salary! I also filed a mediation application.
6. The boss's wife habitually lies about being ill
• Everyone at the company agrees that she is sick, because even people who like to exaggerate usually include about 50% fact in what they say.
She does not. She likes to say things that are completely untrue, and on top of that, she is a loudmouth who likes to broadcast them throughout the company.
For example, on my first day, she told me that the colleague downstairs had diabetes, saying it as if it were true. It was later confirmed to be completely untrue.
(What benefit could she possibly get from telling this lie.... She's completely crazy.)
7. Absolutely no systems, training manuals, or SOPs
• Everything about the rules depends entirely on their mood. If they are happy today, things are done one way; if they are unhappy tomorrow, they are done another way. It is chaotic, and employees have no protection or rights.
• There is no training whatsoever. The system will not guide you, so you have to figure it out yourself. If you cannot log in to the company website, figure it out yourself—yet it still has to be completed before the end of the workday. ^_^
8. They save on labor costs by making you do everything, yet pay only 30K
Hehehehehe, you have to handle accounting, administrative tasks, customer service calls, and so on—countless miscellaneous duties. The company's accounts are such a mess that you cannot finish them, yet you also have to clean up the boss's wife's mess. She is constantly forgetting things, but insists on taking them on herself, and then does them badly. On top of that, she never considers whether her actions make things convenient for her colleagues! She is incredibly selfish!
There are so many other bizarre things that I could never finish describing them all! I have never seen such a crazy company. No wonder 20 people have cycled through this position, and none of them lasted even two weeks. What a legendary shit job.
You two can keep looking at the sky through a straw, then. (Pfft
