I received a phone call about a week after submitting my résumé, without any prior notification. I received the call at 6 during mealtime. The HR representative was very courteous and communicated clearly. I told HR that I was eating and that they could call me again tomorrow for the interview.

And then nothing happened... There was no thank-you note, message, or email; I was simply left waiting all day. For a headhunting company, this is a very casual attitude toward applicants. I wondered whether I was being too particular, but for a company known for HR, is this simple request really too much?
