There are many small restaurants nearby, so it’s convenient to find something to eat.
The job responsibilities discussed during the interview differed from the actual ones. Additional work was often assigned for no apparent reason, and tasks that were originally not part of my responsibilities would eventually become my responsibility. Employees were expected to work overtime without compensation, and not working overtime was considered irresponsible. I believe the overtime forms I submitted probably also accidentally ended up in the trash.
The boss would turn client requests into criticism that the work had not been handled properly, and was also emotionally unstable.
There was no comprehensive SOP. They often said one thing and did another, and asking questions did not necessarily lead to answers. You had to learn from your “mistakes.”
