1. Although the company is located in Building I of the Far Eastern Technology Park, it is very difficult to find the company after reaching the floor because it is behind a glass door, and signs for the men's and women's restrooms are posted on the glass door. This can make people mistakenly think that continuing forward will lead to the restrooms.
2. They advertised an opening for a shipping management trainee. I applied and attended the interview. During the interview, I kept wondering, “Why haven’t they asked me whether I have experience managing people?” Before the interview ended, I asked verbally, “What qualifications does your company require for the management trainee position?”
They actually said, “The company currently has no such plan. If you are hired, the company will see whether we make a profit and then select suitable candidates for the management trainee position based on their individual abilities.”
This made me feel that I had been deceived, so I asked them in return, “Then what position would I be hired for if I were accepted?” They said, “If you are hired, you would join the company as a shipping specialist.”
I could accept it if they told me directly that I was not suitable, rather than telling me after I arrived that the company currently had no intention of hiring management trainees. This makes job seekers feel deceived.
