Pros

Conclusion:

None of the company’s decisions are intended to make money or help it thrive. Their sole purpose is to make the family members “feel good.” The company is simply the family’s playground.

Main text:

Employees at this company have all been confused by decisions at some point: Why were all back-office units suddenly forced to wear suits? Why was the problematic head of the Administration Department invited back despite everyone knowing there was an issue with her? Why did the boss give a case to A, but deliberately ask B whether they knew about it?

You are confused because these decisions are “of no benefit to the company,” making it impossible to understand why such harmful directives would be issued;

but what if you looked at it from another angle—not that it had to “benefit the company,” but that it was simply intended to make someone feel good?

You would suddenly see the light.

1. Suits were mandatory, and wearing your own jacket was prohibited, simply because the boss’s son is obsessed with military uniforms and wanted to display rank insignia on the suits.

2. The problematic manager was brought back because she is obedient and afraid of trouble, making it possible to push through unreasonable policies via her, even if employees became at a loss over the internal rules.

3. The boss deliberately withheld information and then asked whether people knew about it because he habitually maintains his authority by belittling others. Of course, this annoys employees, but it makes the boss feel good.

This way, you can gradually understand the direction of this company’s operations—making the senior management feel good.

And these senior managers include the boss’s wife, son, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, older sister, younger sister, younger sister’s husband, retainers who have clung to the boss for 20 years... and so on. The entire family comes into the family playground together, provided with cheap, easy-to-order-around employees whom they can rush, yell at, and change outfits as they please. It is more entertaining than The Sims.

As a result, two to five people leave this company every week. Most of them flee after only a few days following their start date, and people are also frequently maliciously dismissed in a gangster-like manner (one colleague arrived at work the next day only to discover that their access card had been deleted and their computer locked). But they do not care, after all. Kicking people out feels good; maintaining headcount is not the point.

-

But of course, everything has two sides, and the company does have some redeeming qualities.

As mentioned above, the entire senior management team lacks professional knowledge and only cares about pleasing themselves, so they do not pay much attention to what employees are doing.

You can come in late and leave early every day, disappear for an hour in the middle of work to drink coffee, read novels and watch dramas all day, and so on, without anything happening. After all, the senior managers do not arrive at the office until two or three in the afternoon; you only need to show up when they need someone to yell at.

Also, because things are built on this loose foundation, the intensity of office infighting is very low. Those business aunties who love to mess with people are incredibly weak and full of obvious flaws. If you have even one or two years of work experience, you can basically completely outplay them.

If you enjoy engaging in overt and covert struggles, want to climb the ladder, and do not have much actual professional ability, I sincerely recommend this place. You will absolutely thrive there.
