First, go to the security office (the guard was friendly) to exchange your visitor pass (the company is directly opposite the Zhunan Science Park Transfer Station).
After going to the lobby, report to the receptionist (her attitude was not very good—quite poor and rather fierce). You first need to fill out a basic information form.
After that, an HR representative will bring a computer for you to complete a questionnaire. The questionnaire is in Excel format and has 23 questions in total (there is a time limit. If you take too long, the receptionist mentioned above will come over angrily and say that time is up!!).
Questions 1–18 are multiple-choice questions, mainly testing your personality traits.
Questions 19–23 are open-ended questions, generally asking:
Q: Describe your characteristics.
Q: What are your views on working overtime, and how do you feel about overtime?
Q: Do you have any particularly memorable teamwork experience, and what role did you play?
Q: What are your expectations and requirements for the company?
Q: Do you have any goals?
During the interview:
Q: Have you heard of us before?
Q: Do you know what the company does?
Q: Please briefly describe your master's thesis.
The receptionist's attitude was very poor (actually, everyone else's attitude was fine; the overall low rating was because of the receptionist).
The interview was fairly simple overall. It mainly involved casual conversation about the work, responsibilities, and salary.
The main responsibility is producing photoresist. Overtime is required when rushing to meet deadlines, and dinner is provided for overtime extending into the evening (NT$100).
Most of the employees are R&D engineers, with a female-to-male ratio of 5:1.
The receptionist's attitude was very poor.
The interview took place in the visitor lobby right at the entrance, which was rather unusual.
