Although the company is family-owned, it does not have the problem of incompetent people occupying senior positions. The work environment and atmosphere are both good. The boss is highly technically capable, takes the lead in getting things done, and collaborates with employees. The previous company's pay was also above average, overtime was not underpaid, and the additional allowances were quite generous.

Because the previous company was family-owned, there were some employees with connections who slacked off, often arrived late, or were nowhere to be seen during work hours. Their teammates were then forced to work overtime. Fortunately, the previous company paid overtime in full, and the work was usually not complicated, so this could be considered an alternative benefit. However, some senior managers at the previous company would yell at people all day long, and “certain people” would pressure others into covering their shifts, so you had to learn to say no.
