Convenient transportation in the Shinguang Building
At 7:30 p.m., HR called to arrange the interview. After I replied that I would confirm as soon as possible, they called again three minutes later to ask whether I had made a decision. After I confirmed that I wanted to interview, the interview time in the notification sent through 104 was incorrect, and no attachment was provided. They explained that they would send the correct time and attachment separately by email, which was very unprofessional.
On the day of the interview, I was told that two managers would interview me one after another, but the meeting room had only been booked for one hour. After the first manager finished speaking with me, the second manager was originally supposed to conduct the interview next, but it was canceled. They said they would arrange another time for a phone or video interview.
Then there was complete silence.
I called the mobile number provided by HR, but no one ever answered. When I called the company's extension, they said they would immediately ask about the next steps, but I was never informed of any follow-up. The entire process was extremely disrespectful to job applicants.
Although the company is Japanese-owned, it places greater emphasis on English proficiency.
