Workplace reviews and discussion: 雄獅鉛筆廠股份有限公司

There is hot water for instant noodles and ice-cold water that is refreshingly cool.

If you’re considering applying because of the company’s reputation, think twice. The exterior is polished, and inside there are enthusiastic “senior colleagues” who will guide you in all kinds of tasks.

The senior colleagues have a strong sense of justice. Whenever they see something unfair, they will definitely set the record straight and demand fairness. Their guiding principle is that a team should share both hardships and successes. You can’t use your phone or slack off during work; if you do, it means you’re not working. But when the senior colleagues have nothing to do, chatting, browsing their phones, and ordering lunch are considered reasonable!

The managers understand both life and work. During downtime at work, they browse their phones, check the stock market, and share stories about their families so you can gain experience.

In summary, the work itself is simple. If you’re too straightforward, think twice. Highly recommended for people over 40 who just want to get by and earn a living; there are many colleagues who joined when they were nearing 40 or already in their 40s.
