金驛國際旅行社有限公司
Pros

The colleagues are nice, and there is a radio to listen to.

Cons

1. The work is somewhat miscellaneous and varied.

2. The colleagues and supervisor (and some customers) are relatively old. (At a glance, every one of them looks old enough to be my grandmother or grandfather.) If you are a young person hoping to have a few coworkers around your age, this place is not suitable.

3. You are required to arrive at the company 10 minutes early to clean, and you are also responsible for other tidying tasks. Examples: turning on the lights after lunch, wiping the windows (once every five days) and tables when arriving at the company, sweeping the floor (once every two days), using a very dirty white scrub sponge to wipe up anything spilled on the floor, washing the cups and plates after customers finish drinking coffee, turning on the fan of the main unit, and turning on the air conditioner when it is very hot—but you first have to ask security to turn on the water tower. The air conditioner is 20 years old and water-cooled, so it is very outdated.

(If the position being recruited is an administrative assistant.)

4. The keyboard and mouse are pretty difficult to use; they nearly drove me crazy.

5. The printer is quite slow, and they will tell you to continue working while waiting for the printing to finish.

6. The salary is not high, but the 1111 job listing included a long list of graphic-design software they hoped applicants would know.

(They nearly listed every Adobe graphic-design program.)

7. Although the listing says the conditions are better than those required by the Labor Standards Act, it is a responsibility-based position with no overtime pay. Occasionally, they hope employees will come to work on holidays.

(I have not encountered this yet.)

8. There are only three people: the colleagues and the supervisor, so the staff is very small.

(I heard they opened a branch office in Taipei, so there may be more people there?)
