The office is so quiet it’s practically dead silent, and they turn off the lights right at six and send everyone home.
The interview was divided into two stages. The first stage was with HR, and the second was with the manager of the relevant department. Each stage lasted about an hour.
During the first stage, HR asked questions based on the résumé posted on 104. After looking at my work experience, she felt that I had not stayed in any job for more than three years and directly told me that this was not a good thing. She also said that, at my age, I should be settling down and looking for stability. After hearing that, I thought, “Is this the mindset from twenty years ago?” Then, after looking at my portfolio, she started criticizing this and that, saying that I had no experience taking a product from zero to launch and no actual data to support my achievements, such as sales figures. Even after I explained, she didn’t seem to understand very well. I felt extremely disrespected.
