台控科技股份有限公司
Pros

Benefit 14: Punctual working hours; uniforms are provided every year (UQ polo shirts and down jackets).

Cons

1. The company has been operating for over twenty years, and all data is stored in Excel files. It only recently attempted to introduce a system, but the results have been ineffective because the Sales Department believes it needs a lot of “flexibility in operations,” while the Finance Department insists on continuing to use the old A3000 system, among other reasons.

2. As the source of the process, the Sales Department does not communicate with other departments in advance and independently promises customers additional requirements, leaving the other departments unsure how to cooperate.

There are also cases where equipment is prepared for customers before an order has even been received, or where equipment has already been shipped.

Sometimes an order is forgotten in a busy salesperson’s inbox; only after a full three months have passed and the customer has repeatedly followed up does the salesperson search the inbox, then urgently asks every department to resolve the issue when the situation becomes critical.

There are also cases where, when a shipment is about to be made, the customer calls Customer Service to ask about the delivery date, while the salesperson has no idea what is going on.

3. When recruiting new employees, the General Manager bypasses the normal recruitment process and brings in his own people.

All procurement requests must be approved by him before anything can be purchased, but during the approval process, the requester must personally find him to stamp and sign the request before passing it on to the Procurement Department.

If someone bypasses this approval process, he becomes very displeased and requires the person involved to write him an apology letter.

4. The Sales Manager is quite opinionated and will call anyone he considers relevant into the meeting room at any time, without communicating with other department managers beforehand. He also assigns tasks to other departments regardless of established procedures or logic.

At the same time, he displays his emotions quite openly and lets everyone know when he is unhappy.

5. The sales assistant responsible for shipping has a relatively high frequency of document errors, which has caused difficulties for the warehouse and the cooperating company, Jeliang Technology.

6. The female salesperson shows considerable respect toward her supervisor but is relatively indifferent toward other colleagues. She holds others to a high standard of attentiveness while being comparatively lenient with herself.

7. The company has many branches worldwide, so employees often need to help other branches handle matters such as shipping.

8. The company has fewer than 50 employees, and at one point six employees resigned successively within a single month.
