Colleagues at the various stores under the company can work hard and strive together toward their goals. There are few problems involving infighting or bullying among colleagues, except across the stores in the Taipei–New Taipei metropolitan area.

1. The boss likes to hear flattering words. Employees do not need to know how to do their jobs; as long as they know how to curry favor and act cute, they can get by. The boss does not really assess employees’ abilities or logical thinking when they speak. People who know how to put on an act can survive comfortably.

2. Capable people are not noticed or acknowledged by the boss. If their abilities surpass others’, they may even be treated as targets.

3. The managers of stores outside the metropolitan area collude with colleagues to bully others, causing the bullied employees psychological and physical harm. The store manager has no empathy and does not lead by example in managing the store, while the boss allows this abuse of power to continue.

4. You never know when you will receive your pay stub. Accounting always has countless excuses and resorts to crying in an emotional breakdown to deal with and deflect problems as they arise.

5. The bonus system is never consistent. Even after bonuses are announced, the company simply does not pay the bonuses that are owed. Company announcements are effectively meaningless, the bonus system is an illusion, and colleagues’ hard work receives no equivalent return.

6. The boss in charge of the company likes to talk about dreams in plain language. If you also like to dream, this company may suit you very well—but be mentally prepared for situations in which the boss’s salary and bonuses are not paid on time.

7. The company acts as if it has a well-designed system, but in reality it has no system whatsoever. Everything is done and changed according to the boss’s mood.

8. You need to keep evidence of conversations with the boss, because afterward the boss may deny agreeing to something and then blame the colleagues for the problem.

9. There is honestly still much more, but I am already exhausted. If you know how to curry favor, dislike doing work, and only talk without taking action, this company should be a good fit for you.
