People with connections can rise through the ranks no matter how poorly they perform~ As long as you’re good at currying favor with your supervisor, you can get promoted in an instant even without any performance results.
You work hard in this environment for 3–4 years. Your supervisor may seem to think highly of you, but in reality they just want to dump all the work on you. If they’re unhappy, they’ll stab you in the back. Even the work of colleagues next door becomes your responsibility.
