The advantage is that it’s a company where you can easily scroll on your phone, sleep, and collect a paycheck as long as you don’t get into conflicts with others. (If you do have a conflict, the entrenched senior employees here will band together to badmouth you, and no matter how hard you work, it won’t help.)
This is a company where things are fairly easy as long as you keep a low profile, don’t talk too much, and do your work properly. The key is not to take things too seriously; otherwise, managers who behave improperly will take a dislike to you and deliberately give you scores around 70 in regular evaluations. If they get the chance, they’ll make you accept the company’s severance and leave…
